Why have you decided to return to EQUIP AUTO this year?
The success experienced by EQUIP AUTO in 2017, the fact that it is now held at Porte de Versailles, convinced us to return. Especially since we have a lot of new products to present and we are in a real dynamic of taking market share. In addition, Texa France has done a lot of recruiting lately, such as an OES key account manager, a sector manager, etc., and these new recruits do not always know each other. I think that a show like this one can grow team cohesion, more than a seminar or a team building exercise!
What are you expecting from this participation in the show?
Personally, as a subsidiary manager, it will allow me to meet many clients in one place, to see my customers' complete teams and to be able to exchange with each one. For Texa, participating in EQUIP AUTO is also an opportunity to present all our new products to our customers, prospects, and also to journalists. It is also an opportunity for visitors to our stand to meet our technicians and those who design our products. Better than just talking, the show is also an opportunity to show what we make. Finally, I'm expecting, of course, to get a lot of contacts, especially in the context of the ADAS ...
What is new with you?
Texa France has doubled its turnover in less than 3 years. We are once again in a real dynamic of development, which allows us this year to present a range of products complementary to our historical core business of diagnostics. In fact, we will present our new ADAS systems, in partnership with Ravaglioli, our eLight headlight beam tester, equipped with an integrated electronic diagnostic system, or the Laser Examiner, which measures the wear on the brake discs and tyre treads. These are completely new products for Texa, which are diagnostic related but can work alone.
And your best pick?
We push our Laser Examiner a lot, but our powerhouse, that which positions us as a true recognised specialist, is clearly our new ADAS system. This is what makes us progress and move forward with giant advances in diagnosis in a general way. For instance, we are talking to a bodywork population that we did not see until now. And we are joining the FFC today.
A message for your visitors?
I understand that this edition of EQUIP AUTO will be a rich experience, with many exhibitors, leaders coming back, and I think overall it would be a pity if visitors do not take the time to enjoy the show, with all there is to see and the desire that the profession has to address them. This is a real gathering of the profession and in a period that is not obvious for the after-sales market, with incessant car-bashing. EQUIP AUTO is a way to show that we are there, all together, and all passionate about our profession, and also to show the younger generations, who will be the professionals of tomorrow, that the after-sales sector is ultra dynamic, and is not a wait-and-see approach!
