"Stay current in the changing dynamics of the automotive industry"

For Thomas Lehoucq, Sales Director of the Chimirec Group, EQUIP AUTO is the opportunity to present all waste collection services to professionals who have a greater perception of environmental standards.

Why did you choose to participate in EQUIP AUTO 2019?

Chimirec is a historical exhibitor on EQUIP AUTO and it is for us an essential meeting place because it allows us to meet our customers, to exhibit our new products and to remain current with the many and continuously changing dynamics of the automotive industry. For us, participation in EQUIP AUTO is therefore natural, especially since it is the only show of this size, in France, which lets us meet all the automotive networks.

What are you expecting from your participation in the trade-show?

We have two goals. First, to meet as many customers as possible. We have 13,000 customer workshops, and the show enables us to meet between 1,500 and 2,000. Then, we want to present all of our waste collection services, for hazardous and non-hazardous products, as well as the maintenance of hydrocarbon separators and degreasing fountains for cleaning auto parts. We have been working in the environmental field for 60 years and we see that this topic has become very important for our customers, who have been aware of the reality for the past ten years, and have a greater perception of environmental standards.

What will be your topic at EQUIP AUTO? 

On Wednesday, October 16, at 11:00AM, we will for the first time give ten of our 1strank retail customers a certificate that highlights the strength of their environmental commitment because it is essential to highlight their steps and their involvement. We will also organise an educational event that will take place every day, on the PSA stand, in the form of a 45-minute masterclass open to Eurorepar Car service networks and garages wishing to belong to the Peugeot and Citroën network. What message do you want to give to trade-show visitors? 

I am going to remain rather classic, but we welcome them to our stand to learn about our sorting and waste collection solutions.
