Omia: new generation of luxia paintbooths

An advanced new machinery design integrating the blowing & extraction fans units, new European high IE2 efficiency motors and second generation “Energéco process” for a lower energy consumption.

-> To compare with an equivalent product in size : up to 34% less in running cost (Metropolitan France - labour and filtration included) / job, 22% less time in booth/job, guaranteed productivity: +1 job/day.

Luxia, Internal lenght 7m compared to 6,72m for Helia/Galixia range.

-> To optimize the manufacturers new overall car dimensions.

Luxia, double glazed main door, no hinges, opening via bearing/ swivel assembly and thrust blocks.

-> Ergonomics, better insulation, design

Luxia, new top filter support design with self positioning and easy access.

-> Better ergonomics during maintenance & filter exchange.

Luxia, daylight lighting « high resolution » grade IRC 85%. New IP54 class l super slim lighting blocks equipped with electronic starters.

-> 25% less electric consumption & instantaneous lighting.

New color, interactive, multi languages touch screen, Power & control are separated for better booth settings. Friendly ergonomics and better access for the operator. The new PLC gives access to increased number of menus and controls via the new screen.

-> Ergonomics, friendly use, real time controls, auto maintenance via OMIA hotline, customized data, traceability.

The results of a long acoustic research has given us the expertise to select new insulation components and to fix them at the strategic sections of the booth (machinery, ductings, covers, …).

-> Reduced vibrations, less than 75dba inside the booth, better environment for the operator.

Selection of materials & components recyclable at more than 90%. Integration of energy saving processes.

-> Reduced gas emission in the atmosphere.

AERAULIC CIRCUIT

Luxia, new recycling device (curing cycle) . Use of 2 motorized automatic dampers. Air flow recycled through pit.

-> Better temperature homogeneity around the vehicle and optimized aeraulic
circuit.

Luxia, enlarged top filters surface and specific angle setting for top lighting panels.

-> Optimisation of the air stream through top filters to avoid any air turbulences inside the booth during spray cycle and pigment loaded air particles.

Luxia has a new conecting duct between booth and machinery with upgrated antivibration flexible gasket, aeraulic deflectors and multidirectional air calibrators.

Better even air flow in the plenum, through top filters and in the booth.

Luxia, new air flow separators under overspray filters.

-> Homogeneous air flow ; even air speed around the car with guaranteed value.

Selection and setting of 4 electronic sensors (to replace the liquid micromanometers and  the magnehelic gauge) for more accurate data recording.

-> Continuous analysis of the filters clogging (prefilter, top and bottom filters), the positive pressure and its automatic setting. Alert levels included in the software.

New device to maintain an even air flow from fresh air intake duct till exhaust duct.

-> Act as air intake and exhaust air boosters. This new device reduces the electric intensity rating of the motors and de facto their power.

STRUCTURE & ENCLOSURE

Luxia, the first ever OMIA booth built in a sandwich panel / steel frame assembly. The panels are manufactured in house using high density 40mm rock wool, dedicated press tool.

-> Easier assembly on customer site, 8 to 10% saving in energy costs, reinforced rigid enclosure, reduced level of vibrations, acoustic comfort for the operator. Comply with fire safety standards (M0 rating).

Luxia external enclosure including plenum absolutely smooth with no roughness. Wiring and lighting blocks fully integrated in the ISOLPAX panels and the steel structure.

-> Better design, no asperities, easier cleaning & maintenance.
